Our Purpose

To provide a formal structure for recognizing dental hygienists who are graduates of an accredited dental hygiene program, are licensed to practice dental hygiene, and who strive to maintain and elevate their professional competence through participation in continuing education.

To encourage and promote participation in continuing education activities by conducting or sponsoring workshops, lectures, panels, seminars, or other similar programs beneficial to the public or dental community.

To establish and maintain scholarship funds for Tennessee dental hygiene students who have completed their first year of dental hygiene education and/or for Tennessee licensed dental hygienists desiring to study for an advanced dental related degree.
